We work with architects, designers, homeowners, engineers and other fabricators to dream big, refine ideas, value engineer, and deliver beautiful objects large or small that will set off any space and endure

Our shop was started to serve the high-end historic millwork market with doors, windows and other house parts made from reclaimed and sustainably sourced materials that perform better than modern lumber and engineered products which have a service life of ~30 years and don't biodegrade. Paired with meticulous joinery, traditional methods and modern glues/paints/finishes/glazing our doors and windows easily last as long as the 80-150 year old pieces they replicate. We strive to bring this spirit to every project as we continue to explore new methods and aesthetics

As a minority owned and queer run small business we cherish the communities we spring from and are adjacent to. An important part of Whiteowl Woodworks' vision is to actively support and strengthen our local community.

From donating doors/windows/materials to local non-profits and community organizations that provide housing and shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness, offering materials and labor at reduced rates for local minority owned businesses, to helping artists and activists with building logistics, Whiteowl Woodworks works consistently to be an active pillar of support in the Bay Area.
